NH Obama-Biden Rally

The New Hampshire Obama-Biden rally was held at the Veterans' Park on Elm street yesterday. I went for the rally with a friend from Romania. The rally was scheduled to start at 10.30am, but we had to take the 8.20am bus to get there early so that we could get in the queue early. We got there are like 8.45 and the queue was already ridiculously long!!! But it was moving, thank goodness. All in all, we spent about 20 minutes in the queue, which was awesome considering how long it was. When we reached the entrance of the Veterans' Park, we had to go through airport-like security screening. Wasn't too bad. Before we knew it, we were in! The rally started at 10.30am. Pictures paint a thousand words so, scoll down:-)

All kinds of other stuff were on sale too.

We were pretty close to the podium, so we had a good view

Welcoming Obama!

Secret service on a building overlooking the park

We tried to shake his hand before he left. We were so close!

And so, the whole thing ended at about 11.45am. We were supposed to take the 12pm bus back to college, but we missed it! So we ended up walking to Papa John's for pizza before taking the 1pm bus back. It was an interesting experience and I'm glad I went for it.

Signing out.
